MANITOU, leader mondial de la manutention tout-terrain

Manitou Asia Pte Ltd, a subsidiary company in the MANITOU Group, established in 1993 in Singapore is the Group's regional office for the Asian Countries. The company provides Marketing, Sales and Rental of New and Used machines, Spare Parts, After Sales Service and Technical Expertise to all MANITOU users and distributors in Asia.

To strengthen the Manitou telescopic forklift truck business in the United States, MANITOU signed a partnership agreement on 22 July 2004 with GEHL, a US company that manufactures and distributes compact equipment mainly to the agricultural and construction markets. Through the agreements, MANITOU and GEHL are combining their efforts to increase their respective market shares.

MANITOU has become a shareholder of GEHL, acquiring 14.9% of the company's capital.

GEHL has a 50+ year of history in international markets with roots dating back to 1859 and is one of the leading manufacturers of Skid Steer Loaders, Mini-Excavators, Compact Articulated Loaders and a wide range of attachments.

Manitou Asia Pte Ltd distributes the range of GEHL products in Asia and provides after sales technical services and spare parts support to all users in the region
